Less than a month ago I wrote a post about how Nortel CTO John Roese had been named the Next-Generation Executive of the Year at the 2008 Ottawa Centre for Research and Innovation (OCRI) Awards.
Now, the Ottawa Business Journal has included John Roese in it’s annual list of “Forty under 40.” The OBJ selects people that “represent the region’s most dynamic, successful and community-minded businesspeople.” The Forty Under 40 award recipients will be profiled in OBJ’s June 16 issue.

On Monday, Nortel launched a set of new commercials. Unlike the technology-focused commercials we launched a few months ago, these commercials focus on customer stories.
The first new commercial below highlights the InterContinental San Francisco, a new luxury hotel that I recently blogged about detailing its Nortel VoIP and WLAN deployment (and their hyerconnected minibar).
The second new Nortel commercial below highlights Mumbai International Airport in India, a customer we announced last year.
