I might even put the concept of Hyperconnectivity to good use and try posting from the road on my first trip.

Rich Tehrani of TMCnet is on the short list of trade media we keep in the loop on all things enterprise. He often talks to Joel Hackney and other Nortel enterprise spokespeople on the state of our enterprise business.

What exactly does a demo of 100 Gigabit Ethernet traveling over a 800km long 100gig link look like? Apparently a lot of people are curious to know, since a video that I posted of this demo yesterday evening on the Nortel YouTube channel already has almost 1,000 views. This morning the Wall Street Journal published an article that Nortel "has sought legal counsel to explore bankruptcy-court protection from creditors in the event that its restructuring plan fails, according to people familiar with the situation." I'm back online here at Buzzboard after being down this week for a migration of our nortel.com blogs to a new blogging and social media platform. If you don't notice much different from before, that's because there is no difference...we're still using WordPress for at least a little bit longer. Some trialing and testing revealed that a little more work needed to be done to make sure we had a smooth transition, so we've brought our old platform back online while we

While most of the U.S. (including myself) has been taking some or all of this last week off for Thanksgiving vacation, my teammate Miranda MacDonald has been kind enough to keep this Buzzboard blog going.

We've got some great news to do with our optical solutions portfolio which you've probably been reading a bit about already in posts like this one that talked about our recent 40G win with SK broadband, 40G-ready win with RoEduNet, and the SCinet 100G demo .

Before I get into the details about the WiMAX news, I wanted to take a second to introduce myself.
